Casey Tamil Manram is a non-political and non-profit making community organization focusing on promoting the Tamil language and culture, empowering the older Tamil generation, encouraging the younger Tamil generation and promoting harmonious integration among Australian multicultural communities.
I. To preserve and promote the Tamil language and culture.
II. To encourage and provide a platform for Tamil creative works.
III. To empower the older generation by providing/organizing culturally responsive aged services/activities.
IV. To encourage the younger generation to retain and express their social identity and cultural inheritance.
V. To promote understanding, goodwill and unity among the Tamil community.
VI. To promote the harmonious integration of the Tamil community into Australian multi-cultural society.
VII. To facilitate the community input to the government or any other relevant organizations in order to ensure the positive and progressive future of our community.
VIII. To provide support to new Tamil migrants.
IX. To organize fundraising activities and collect donations/funding from other organizations, members and well-wishers to achieve the aims and objectives of the organization.
